Working in partnership

Sandwell Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB) has a statutory responsibility to ensure that appropriate training on safeguarding and promoting welfare for adults with support needs is provided in Sandwell in order to meet local needs.

Our training is aimed at professionals working in all organisations involving adults with support needs and their families. The Learning & Development sub group devises a catalogue to support locally identified needs and priorities which are identified from training analysis exercises, a training strategy document and any Serious Adult Reviews.

SSAB will also commission a number of specific learning events reflecting current topics and any new policy or legislative changes.
